Hebrew Teaching Assistant Position
Each year the Jewish Studies Program hires a teaching assistant for our Hebrew courses. We give preference to UC San Diego graduate students but undergraduates and community members may also apply. We accept resumes/CVs and Statements of Purpose (as defined below) throughout the year from interested applicants. Please send queries to the Program Coordinator.
The Jewish Studies Program hires a teaching assistant for our first-year Hebrew courses, and the first two quarters of our second-year Hebrew courses. Appointments are at 25% time working 10 hours per week, teaching two one-hour sections under supervision of the Hebrew Languages Instructors, and grading.
Hebrew Teaching Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, preparing in-class discussions and instructional materials, leading discussion sections, holding office hours, and grading homework/tests. Native Hebrew speaker is preferred and advanced competency in Hebrew grammar is required.

New graduate students will first need to establish a TritonLink account through the Grad Apply system. For non-students please submit application materials to the Program Coordinator.
